We are typically brought in when a superyacht program — new build or refit — needs reliable coordination between design development, technical documentation and shipyard execution. The 50–90m range is where this complexity is most demanding, and where misalignment between design intent and production reality costs the most.DESIGN & PROJECT MANAGEMENT INTEGRATION
Our role sits between the design studio and the shipyard floor. We make sure that what the designer intends is what the shipyard receives — and that production constraints reach the right people before they become problems. On complex programs, this kind of continuity doesn't happen by itself.

Design concepts need a specific translation process before they become buildable — one that preserves the original intent while meeting the technical and regulatory constraints of the shipyard environment. We manage this directly, using advanced 3D workflows and integrated documentation to reduce revision cycles and keep development moving.EXTENDED EXPERIENCE
Our experience extends beyond yachts. We have worked on large cruise ship interiors and high-end hospitality projects — environments where coordination across disciplines, compressed timelines and multi-stakeholder dynamics are the norm. AVConsultant is an independent consultancy founded and led by Alessio Visintin, with over 20 years of experience in superyacht design coordination, technical development and project integration across new build and refit programs.Depending on the scale and nature of each project, we work directly or together with a selected network of trusted collaborators.Either way, the point of contact — and the responsibility — stays the same.
